Gillis Media

Hi! I’m Gracie Gillis, and I run Gillis Media. 

I’m a Media Production student at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, where I study Media Production with a focus on directing, producing, and editing. I’m also minoring in Marketing, which helps me think about how creative work connects with audiences and strategy.

I’ve always been drawn to visual storytelling. In high school, I spent four years in yearbook, eventually becoming Editor-in-Chief and Social Media & Marketing Manager. In that role, I developed experience in photography, graphic design, branding, and content strategy while leading a creative team and helping run campaigns to boost engagement and sales.

Since then, I’ve expanded into film and documentary work at UC, working on narrative and nonfiction projects like Reverdie, where I directed a short film focused on visual storytelling through color and character perspective, and Ms. Rossi, a Gillis Media project where I served as Executive Producer, Director, Writer, and Editor. I’ve also contributed to documentary work like A Disability Documentary, along with other collaborative projects in directing, assistant directing, camera work, and post-production. 

Alongside filmmaking, I continue to build experience in digital media and marketing through branding, social media content creation, and campaign strategy across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
