Gillis Media

Hi! I’m Gracie Gillis, and I run Gillis Media. 

I’m a Media Production student at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, where I study Media Production with a focus on directing, producing, and editing. I’m also minoring in Marketing, which helps me think about how creative work connects with audiences and strategy.

I’ve always been drawn to visual storytelling. In high school, I spent four years in yearbook, eventually becoming Editor-in-Chief and Social Media & Marketing Manager, where I built experience in photography, design, branding, and content strategy while leading a team and campaigns to increase engagement and sales.

At UC, I’ve expanded into film and documentary work on projects like Reverdie, where I directed a short film focused on color and character perspective, and Ms. Rossi, where I served as Producer, Director, Writer, and Editor. I’ve also contributed to A Disability Documentary and other collaborative work in directing, AD, camera, and post-production.

As I’ve gained on-set experience, I’ve developed a strong interest in producing and assistant directing, especially coordinating logistics and keeping teams organized from pre-production through post. My goal is to work as a Producer and AD in narrative, commercial, and digital media while growing as a collaborative leader.

I also continue building experience in digital media and marketing through branding, content creation, and campaign strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

I’m currently seeking Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 internships in media production, digital marketing, or social media strategy. I'm also looking to get more professional experience on sets.
