Ms. Rossi is a narrative short film I wrote, directed, mainly produced, and edited about ambition, disappointment, and realizing success may look different than you originally planned. The film follows Willow Rossi, a recent architecture graduate who begins questioning her career path and finds unexpected purpose in mentoring a student. I focused on visual storytelling through match cuts and mirrored framing to show Willow’s emotional shift throughout the film. Along with directing, I handled production planning, team communication, and post-production editing. The film was shot on a Blackmagic Pocket 6K and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.

This project was my first major directing project for a college class. The short film follows a girl having a terrible winter morning where a series of small inconveniences pile up. The assignment focused on using color with meaning, and our film shifts from cool blues to warmer greens after the main character waters her nearly dead flowers, representing how small positive actions can change perspective. I directed both on and off set and also worked as a co-writer and co-producer, helping organize locations and casting. The project was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro by our editor and completed in March 2026.

This documentary explores the experiences of disabled students and staff and challenges common misconceptions about disability through interviews and campus b-roll. Rather than reducing disabled people to “inspiration” narratives, the project highlights them as complex, funny, ambitious, and honest about their experiences. I worked as a co-producer, director, camera operator, editor, and post-sound mixer, helping shape interviews, capture footage, and build the final story in post-production. The documentary was filmed on a Canon T7 Rebel and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition.

This project was my first professional, non-student production and gave me the opportunity to work on a fast-paced narrative set. The microseries follows two teams competing for the chance to work with a major company. As Script Supervisor, I tracked continuity throughout production by working closely with the actors, directors, and camera operators to monitor dialogue, shot coverage, and scene changes. I also stepped in as Assistant Director when needed, helping manage the shooting schedule and keep the crew on track throughout the day. The series is currently in post-production and is expected to be completed in August 2026.

This film project was a senior Capstone project of Director Anna Weidner for the University of Cincinnati. The film follows a young girl navigating life in a toxic household after her parents’ difficult divorce, exploring themes of instability and emotional strain. The production required extensive coordination across both pre-production and on-set work, ensuring an organized schedule and smooth daily operations. Completed in April 2026, the project highlights strong collaboration and the ability to manage logistics in a narrative-driven film environment.

This commissioned commercial shoot was created for Nightlife Cafe Drunken Tacos in Clifton, Cincinnati, to produce promotional photography for the restaurant’s website and social media platforms. The project focused on capturing menu items through product photography while highlighting the restaurant’s atmosphere and brand identity with environmental images. I planned and photographed the entire shoot, balancing clean, appetizing food imagery with lifestyle-focused compositions that reflected the restaurant’s late-night energy. The project was completed in June 2026.

This project centered around creating a mock movie concept and designing a full promotional campaign for it. The concept centered around a crime-comedy narrative with playful but dramatic promotional visuals. As part of our team of four (GMAT), I handled the photography used in the main poster & DVD, as well as designed most of the poster and DVD graphics. We competed in Ohio BPA’s Visual Design Team – Pilot event, where we advanced to regionals and placed second. (A photo from the event is on the page through the button below ↓)
